What do the grey sigils in the star-unlocked levels do?

I haven't unlocked any of them, but I'm curious as to what they're for. I haven't seen a door that requires them.

I think they're for floor 6 of the tower, im almost there

I believe so too, since when you get them you have a section with just the label of "6"

well, i just finished the game but there was nothing for them. you cna reach the top from floor 5 after solving the puzzle. its just a long stair case leading up and then you are comfronted with puzzles and thats it.
so yea, i also would like to know where these are used for.

You need 3 digit (single digit per star world)elevator code, type it in the one of the Tower terminals and go to the elevator. 6 floor is undergroud.

kwahoo is correct. I think the sigils are meant to be platinum, not grey?

I thought they were gray, but upon closer inspection they appear to be white, but always look gray due to (un?)fortunate lighting conditions. Elohim will still nag you about "Do not ascend the tower" even though you have to go to Fl.1 to unlock Fl.6.

well, thats all great but where do i find the code?

i watched a video on youtube and the guy entered 596 but the code was incorrect for me. also for some odd reason all the puzzles in the tower have to be solved again. even when i can access each floor. besides 6 of course.

Once you have all the stars and unlocked the extra Star levels in each World, going through the Portal to that Star Level hub there will be a digit on a board near the Portal (first digit World A, second digit World B, etc).

Once you have all three digits go back to the computer on Floor 1 and enter the code, it is randomised for each player.

You should not need to solve the Tower puzzles again, as the exit pathway that opens up for you should remain open for you to go to the terminal without solving the puzzle again.

On the sign near the spawn point in each of the worlds behind the star-gates in A B and C, the ones with the white sigils. Each sign has one of the digits.

I feel like something is not right with the 3-digit code though, every single time I have played through the game (5 playthroughs) all the digits were even or odd. Heck, in my latest one the damn thing was 888...

My code ended up being 587 but it sounds like this might be different for others or each time.
