Sigils, doors, basic gameplay questions
I am confused about something. I are sigils "spent"? is there strategy involved in using sigils to unlock certain things? also, I am confused about unlocking lens-thingys and boxes...how do i know what puzzles use these things...and what happens if I tried to enter these puzzles without having unlocked the correct "tools"?
Is there signifigance to the sigil colours? is there signifigance to the door numbers?

Basically, the puzzles are super fun and the game is great...but I need a basic run-down of how the rest of it is meant to be played. the point of collecting sigils, stars, etc.

I know, kind of a stupid request.

Nope, they won't "spend". You have the exact amount of sigils for every door you need to open or object you need to unlock. Don't worry about that^^

Well, something I don't quite get. I played just a bit but enough to clear world 2, do I have to search for a door in order to do the same kind of tetris minigame I had to in world 1 ?

Its a bit confusing on that end, can't find it thats why im askin :P

There's small icons on the signs that tell you what tools are required. If you don't have a tool indicated on the sign, you won't be able to solve it (with maybe a couple exceptions).

Sometimes, not having a tool makes it really easy; like getting to Whoosh! without unlocking the connector, leading the fan to be off.

Yes, you use them to unlock equpment like connectors, hexahedrons, fans, platforms and recorders. But you don't get to choose which ones to use, the game does that for you.

Not really. You have to unlock everything to solve all the puzzles.

If you look closely at the signs by each doorway, you will see icons representing what you need to have unlocked to get that sigil. You may enter a puzzle room without the required parts unlocked but they will be unusable.

Is there signifigance to the sigil colours?
Yes, take a look at the top of your hud to see what each color is for. When yoiu solve a puzzle, the sigil goes into a catagory that is marked by a letter or an icon.

is there signifigance to the door numbers?
No, just a way to keep track of where you are. Same with the A, B, C of the worlds.

OK....I almost get it. The only thing is I have (in my HUD) 2 groups of sigils, B and C. I know that these HUD elements tell me what I have and what I'm missing to get to the B and C areas.
One sigil I am missing in both the B and C catagories, I just got. Automatically, the version in my B catagory got "fulfilled". Why not identical sigil in the C catagory instead, and is there any point. or way, of choosing where I use a sigil, if that sigil is missing in multiple puzzles/locks?

As has been mentioned every sigil has a unique, predetermined use. There's only 4 colors of sigils, and 7 shapes, and many groups often have duplicated shapes even within themselves. If you're paying close attention, when you get a sigil, it won't even necessarily fill the first slot of a group of that shape, but as with between groups, fills its destined slot. The only exception to this is the Stars. They don't have any shape at all, and can be used in any order, in any of the 3 star puzzles. Rest assured though that like the shaped sigils, there's exactly enough to complete everything so you don't have to pick and choose where you want to go.
