Once you've chopped down the trees in the path of the mine, and opened the gates, it should just go right through and take out the turret.
If you try the puzzle again you should be able to solve it. If not, you can wait for the mine to get into that last room and unjam the forcefield. After the mine bounces back and forth enough times (between the open gate and the forcefield, it may eventually successfully go through the gate.
Also, keep in mind that the mine CAN bounce off of the axe. Make sure you don't drop the axe in the doorway or anything like that, just to be sure.
If the mine won't pass through in this scenario, then it's quite possible something to do with your configuration is making the problem worse and more apparent... if you can post your log file it could help!
Let me know if doing the puzzle again works for you. I'll pass along the information to the devs.

:yay: Now all I've got left of World A is the messenger island.
(The following is unrelated to the mine glitch but related to things the devs should be aware of.)
So, funny enough, and contrary to the recommendations in the motion sickness options, setting the performance to lower settings actually helps with motion sickness, at least on slower machines. I tried increasing performance and I'd move the mouse, wait a second, and then the camera would move. Talk about vomit fuel. And strangely enough, even with view bobbing set to false, the camera still bobs slightly when standing still. Also, (not sure if this is only when performance is set too high) the subtitles lag behind the audio sometimes. The audio is pristine, but the subtitles stutter and then get cut off when the audio ends.
