If you want a guide for all the easter eggs, I included them in my GameFAQs guide (obviously spoilers): http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/805905-the-talos-principle/faqs/70787?page=3#section236
:P
Here's a brainteaser for ya, though:
If you free the cat and get the kitty-ending... isn't that a subtle clue that you're actually still in The Machine?
After all, the cat was found inside the VR...and then somehow there was a cat's body waiting for it to transfer into, just like there was a mechanical body for you?
I think Croteam was trying to pull a subtle fast one.
That is, an easter egg (gaming) hidden in an image of an easter egg (literal), located on a console as an easter egg (gaming), accessible only after figuring out a way to break the giant easter egg shell (literal) around the console.
Would've been even funnier if they'd done it on Cinco de Mayo.
Because nobody expects the SPANISH EASTER-CEPTION.
That's been there since release.
