Spoiler Thread. When given the chance to ask one, and only one question....
Which one did you pick and what was the reaction?

Hopefully this should be far enough to avoid people from reading it and being spoiled, but I got to the part where the secret word, Faith, was suppose to override the system. Well, surpise surprise. It was a ruse. For the most part, I've kept honest, and open minded, and thought before I made assumptions. However, upon hearing that a possible word would help me, I fell for it. Now, when told that I could ask one question and get an honest, no tricks (yeah right lol), answer, I picked "What is your name?"

The answer was basically along the lines of Oh why how nice of you to ask. I have never been ask by anyone before, so I do not have a name I believe, but you can call me Milton (Its the name of the MLA thingy).

And when asked if that was the question I wanted to ask, I said Yes because saying no, would sound as if I was not confident or proud of my question and its not like I would get a second question or anything. So. what did you ask, and what was the response?

The funny thing is that in that particular situation - and only in that particular situation - would saying "No" actually give you a second question :P

I asked what the top of the tower was. Do you want the response? Could get spoilery.

So you did ask two questions? And um, yeah sure. Its a shame that there is no quick savea nd quick reload, or else I would exhaust all possible questions
"You may very well ask. Me? Don't know, never been. I suppose you're still expecting a button marked 'OFF', or a portal to another dimension? I reckon no matter how high you climb the most you'll get is an increasingly zoomed out view of right back where you started.

Still, go ahead, prove me wrong. The big voice in the sky can't be all places at all times, can he?"

And that's your lot.

I remember asking something about the real world, but I really can't remember the text anymore

I asked the question about the relation between the human world and the world we play in. Basically, the answer was that our world was created for a purpose that is unknown, even in the archive there is no real answer to the question.

In defense of the player, "What is your name?" was a perfectly valid question. For all we knew, the MLA program was just Elohim in disguise.

Plus, I didn't expect to get a straight answer to any of the other questions.

Yeah because if the program was able to almost lie about things already, then whose to say that it promisng to be true and honest, was just another one of its tricks?

I didn't ask him anything. I don't like games like that - either tell the player everything or don't say anything at all.

True, but in life, you can never have it all, so you just have to pick something, or reject it and accept nothing. Something, is better than nothing, most of the times.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
