Breaking C5
So I can get four connectors, two cubes, a fan and a jammer out into the hub.

The easiest way to start is using the fan in "Time Flies" to jump out of the puzzle room with a cube. You can use the recorder to also get the connector out. Once outside turn right and find a short wall near a slight rise in the ground to jump onto the wall near the blue terminal taking the connector with you. From there you can pick up the cube as well. (And get into the sigil room of Time Flies and also get the star and escape without resetting) If you go all the way around the outside of the hub you can jump onto a wall using the cube and get the sigil in "Up close and Jammed". (The gate will open and again you are free to continue.)
Near the entrance to that same puzzle is a broken wall near some rocks. Place one cube on the broken wall and you can jump out into the hub holding a jammer, both connectors and another cube.
In "Dumbwaiter" set two boxes near the low right hand wall as you enter the puzzle and sprint jump from the wall on the stairway to the boxes holding the connector, then out into the hub. You can get the fan out using the same method.

There does not seem to be anything you can do with these items but it is fun to test the limits of the environment. C5 seems to be especially vulnerable to this type of exploration.
As proof that the developers know all about this exploit, there is a QR code OUTSIDE the hub.

Hello.

After completing this level, I began to play with the tetrahedrons to see how many I could throw into the main area. It seemed possible for 3 of them, but today I figured out how to deal with the rest!

Sorry about my lack of precision in some moves. I'm using a gamepad here.

I too love to try things out just to see if they are possible.

****ing cool guys!! I remember that star in C5, Dumb Waiter. you can use a box on top of the fan that blows side ways and jump up on to the wall to get the star! i thought it was the ONLY way. LOL

The idea of getting trapped (not that big deal) after jumping down to that darned star made me think about the actual (?) solution of this, which is, bringing a red beam from the puzzle "time flies".

But this requires having a second connector inside "dumbwaiter". So, I wonder if we're really doing what devs wanted us to do in first place.

Nicely done. I knew there was a way to get more hexahedrons but I stopped trying after a while.

As for the star in dumbwaiter...
I brought the red beam from "time flies" to the platform in "up close and jammed" and on to the red socket on the tower behind "dumbwaiter". You don't need any connectors in dumbwaiter, just something to put on the pressure plate to open the back area.

Just got aware that I used the word "tetrahedron", when it's "hexahedron" instead.
I think I mixed the term after reading about tetrominos.
A tetrahedron may actually exist in a 3D world, but they would be a hell of unstable objects to be used in puzzle solving! hahaha.

On topic: about "dumbwaiter", I don't remember to have seen a pressure plate for opening the fence in the star area. That would be easier that way then!

BTW, you can put all hexahedrons inside "up close and jammed" (including the jammer itself), where the floating drone and the turret are. Just for fun, I did this...

I'm pretty sure it's possible to put another hexahedron in the pile. Poor drone started to shake after the 4th one! I wonder if it would collapse with the 5th...:gs_bubblegum:

The pressure plate opens the forcefield that allows you to go to the stairs where the hoizontal fan is. From there you can jump to the star area.

Hi. I know that. But don't you get trapped inside if you just jump down to the star?
I might be wrong, but I decided to open the fence first to avoid risks (even if you keep the star after rewinding, I just didn't want to commit "suicide"). :gs_bubblegum:

No you don't get trapped.
The red beam opens the metal grate and there are stairs leading out to the puzzle area. You can get to the star by jumping over the grate/wall using a box and the fan and then you would be trapped, but that is not the intended solution.
