Eternal Life Ending bug/purpose- do I have to start all over again ? [possible spoilers]
I just beat the game - solved world A,B and C puzzles and chose to enter the gate and got the Eternal Life Achievement. The game immediately started again in the very beginning. Do I have to redo every single one of the puzzles now to access the Tower? I am really confused.

Ok, I will answer myself: in the main menu there is an option: Restore Backup, where I can choose one of the older saves.

Well, I ascended the tower, and wanted to know what was behind the big door. I could restore a previous version.

But when I then entered the door, and the game started anew, I could NOT restore a previous version. So, I am curious as to why you could and not me. Do you only get one restore, or what?

You are probably talking about the "Hold X to Restore" option, this will only revert to the most recent restoration checkpoint. In order to go back further, you will have to go through the game's menu. Can't remember the exact menus have to dig through, but you should find a "Restore Backup Checkpoint" Menu option. There is even an achievement related to it.

No, I WAS talking about the game menu option of restore previous versions. After the tower, I had a full list of versions to choose from. After typing /internalyse in the computer after the big gate, the list is gone. All game data seems to be deleted, except for my achievements. So, I cannot go back.

EDIT: never mind, seems I was mistaken after all. I restarted the game and the full list could be found again. Weird.
