Some QR code text is missing?

I've come across two QR code posters now that don't display any text when viewed. Is this a bug or part of the game?

So there's some item or something I need to do or get before they start displaying text? Or can I just forget about the ones that show nothing and not worry that I'm missing something?

You can use an item from real life to help you decode it. There is no in-game solution.

Mike, all QRs in the game are real and can be scanned with a QR reader. I think even ee made some icons for Steam achievements, or badges that also scan out. ;)

Also had some QR codes that won't decode ingame. It's sometimes hard to scan it with a smartphone because of contrast, but in worst cases I made a screenshot, edited it using GIMP, and then it works with my smartphone!

There's one in the hidden world in building A that I can't get, it's on the "
credits" type poles. Can I scan that one?

But still, why are they not decoding in the game? Was this done intentionally?

Wow, really? This topic seems to have no answer, so yes, it is intentional. But not very good design, especially since there have been a lot of people before you who also think this is a bug.
