This just happened to me. There was an arm holding onto the cliff in Weathertop. As soon as I noticed it, it said 'fly you fools' and slipped away.

Jumped off to reset, turns out it's a monster and if you catch it right, you can see it before it lets go.

Ha! I jumped in my seat when I heard the voice say "Fly You Fools!" and saw something fall. Then since I was having trouble with the puzzle I thought it might be a command to do something to help me solve it... So I jumped. Here's a *spoiler* pic I took when restarting to trigger it again. It wasn't Gandalf like in the movie. ;-)
