Actually yes, that post started me doubting to start with going through the gates ..thanks for the clarification!
Although,it's not actually the "true" ending, which I find a bit weird. You do the hardest puzzles to not even see the end.
I haven't come across anyone having any trouble with not being able to restore their backup after the Eternal ending(First and easiest ending). I mean if it bothers you you CAN do that one last but for best enjoyment, I'd recomend doing Eternal first and the Tower Ascension ending last or second.
If you ask me, the tower ascension ending is the best one.
True but then again you were constantly told that you're not supposed to do all the puzzles. So it's not the truest ending becuase, well, you didn't listen lol.
Actually, your sole purpose was to defy what Elohim was telling you. That's how you get the "true" ending.
Well I chose to went for the "solve all puzzles / defy Elohim" version from the start, so I was glad to find out I can do all three in one setting.
I did the Transcendence one a few hours ago, restored to backup and acquired my last two stars. Now I will get the last three grey sigils and do both last endings in one sitting :)
..also I met a cat earlier in the game, I heard I will meet it again at the end
