Gehenna world 3 island?

I've been working through the Road to Gehenna dlc and I noticed an island off in the distance in world 3 that peaks my interest. I've finished all of the puzzles and stars in the world and found a few easter eggs but I keep coming back because I feel there has to be a way to get to this island. Why else would you spawn staring directly at it? Why would they clearly place a building on it? It really seems like it has to be some sort of easter egg, knowing how much work they put into them. I've tried running at it from all sorts of directions however and cannot seem to get onto it as I'm always teleported back to spawn. Interesting enough, I was able to just barely reach the shore of the island directly behind where you spawn before being teleported back, however I cannot seem to find any purpose of this either. But this other island looks so much more developed... I just don't understand why they'd put it there unless they wanted to screw with minds like mine. I've searched the internet for world 3 island, easter eggs, etc. and found nothing about this. It's eating away at me. Anyone ever found anything about this island worth knowing, or about the other one I was able to reach? Or is this just a mystery that will go unsolved...

If that's the world with the aqueduct then I think there is a way to get there. I haven't gotten there myself yet but with a bit of puzzling it should be possible.

Edit: Played a bit more and what I thought was a pathway to the island just got me a star. So I guess you can't get there after all.
