Eagles nest task or puzzle.

How do I get the hexadehrons(boxes) to hit the palm tree,and fall down inside the perimeter?.I can't get this to happen,what happens is the boxes fly over to the other side without hitting the tree.Is there some trick or manuever that im missing with the fan-springer? Thanks.

The boxes has to hit the tree in order to fall into the center of the perimeter,so i can use the boxes to block the the blue lazer light,and to take the fan off, then get the artifiact i need to progress on in the game.I dont understand why the boxes are not hitting the tree is what puzzles me.

There must be a bug in this task or puzzle, The tree blocking the boxes is the KEY to solving this puzzle.

thank-you for replying, yes tried that a zillion times,i jumped on to the fan-springer plate with the box in hand but cant hit the tree with the box in hand,while in flight,which i need to do.

OK, I hate to give away big 'A-ha' moments, but when the fan sends you over the enclosure you need to drop the box so that it lands inside. The tree really is just for decoration. The rest should be fairly obvious.
This trick is useful for a few puzzles in the game.
