Road to Gehenna - World 4 (Air delivery)

Hi!
It's not the first time I've played Road to Gehenna, without any problems! This time something absurd is happening in World 4 (Air Delivery). I get on the fan from the central islet, but every time it pushes me off the island I need to get to.
Is there any way to overcome this problem? 0_O

I've had that happen before. What I do is jump onto the fan but do not touch the controls until I've landed. It has something to do with the velocity we're moving at when we enter the fan or something.

Thank you! I made the jump turned on my back, looking at the fan. I don't know if it was by chance, but I solved it! :)

Locking your fps also helps. Physics might get a little shady past 120 fps.

Yes, I had this same problem. Some of those fans are just pushing me too far. I don't know if they changed the game code or if it has anything to do with me playing on a different computer than I used to play on, but I had to deliberately make sure I ran into a tree to stop myself from going off the edge.

I found that if just as I touched down I started moving toward the wall around the puzzle, it steered me into a tree that kept me from just sliding right on into the void.

Both. Croteam updated engine in 2019, which also lead to increased fps on high-end machines. Enabling VSync and/or locking your fps helps, unless you have 144Hz monitor.
