Getting Stars
I'm zipping through the game pretty fast - working on unlocking C and the Lift Icon thing.

I seem to taking very little time to pick up sigils. So far, only stumped on one for maybe half an hour - many still only taking a minute to sort out even now.

Stars are another matter. I have only 4. Usually, I can't even find them - but sometimes when I find one, I can't even start to think of any possible way to get it.

I don't want to cave in and look it up just yet, but wondered if I'm missing anything - and later in game I may find a way to get (the odd few I know where they are), or whether it's all there now, and I just need to find a way?

Also, I sometimes come up with Laser Recievers(for want of a better phrase). Sometimes there's a Blue or Red one, but a light source no-where to be seen.

Am I missing something, or just not bright enough?

Thanks in advance.

:)

I still haven't completed the game, so I can't guarantee if this holds true for the entirety of the game (but I guess it does). I'm halfway into temple B and I've gotten all stars until now without the need of anything extra that's not there on the level.

They're generaly much harder than the sigils, and a good amount require some out the box thinking (the ones you mention requiring a laser color you can't find is one example of this).

Thanks for reply Aris.

I'll soldier on a bit more. I have now come across a sigil I'm struggling with.

Well I got one Star that needed a different colour by getting the colour I needed from an adjacent map. So now it seems the solution may not be contained just within the area you find yourself. I also notice that the colour seems to change when it hits railings, but not had chance to test that theory yet. Still stuck on one sigil though, hardest so far by a long way.

I got all the stars, and it wasn't worth it... just a ton of work for an ending that doesn't add anything to the story

When you see a star, assume that you can't get it with just the stuff within the puzzle room that you are currently in. Try to get equipment or laser rays from other rooms in your current room. If you have that mentality, and are looking for those possibilities, you often succeed to get the star.
