In which order to advance?

So, I have completed completely A lands 1 and 2 areas -except stars- and that unlocked the elevator, giving access to B and C lands. Should I continue to B land or try to complete all areas of A land?

!No spoilers please! but are the A lands areas fully unlocked to complete before going to B land? I'm asking because I noticed that there is 2 unlockable thingies in the A lands great hall... Do I need to grab similar unlockable thingies from land B before I can complete A lands higher areas?

Might sound like I should just play the game but I'm bit of a completionist and thank you again for not spoiling the mechanics or puzzles

Small addition;
I did some searches on the internet and you.com had something to say about the color of those collectables and a hint that their color would point into how hard the puzzles are, does this sound as true statement?

You could had easily give some information about the game and your opinion as to how progress but you degraded yourself to this
Honestly, I use firefox with adblocker so no ads for me. Also, it kept the answers spoiler free which is nice

I have unlocked one thingy from A land and one remains but I have no idea what I did unlock nor how or where to use it. So should I continue going through A lands levels to unlock the second thingy or is it optional and I could advance to B land?

Not trying to be snarky, just a fair warning. Sometimes help offered is just help offered. Good luck in the game.

I'd say complete the areas in order for best experience (A, B C). Sometimes the later levels are plays on previous ones and the tools from earlier levels are used later. But if you get stuck on one, it's ok to come back to it later and move on.

I've played the game countless times and always the same way. A 1-7, B 1-7, and C 1-7 in order including all stars (27 of 30 with the final 3 found outside of these puzzle areas.) Hint is that star 28 is in one of the Messenger Islands which are boarded up and the other 2 in the Tower area
Then the Eternal Life ending ( I typically skip this one), restore backup and continue to the tower for Ascension ending, restore backup and assuming you have 30 stars, go to Star Levels in A,B, and C and then finish with the Messenger ending.
