Cannot unlock platform tool

I've completed nearly all puzzles in A - C worlds, plus tower up to level 3.
A and B are completed, there are just 4 puzzles in world C left to solve - all require the platform tool. But I I can't get the platform tool - still have one square yellow sigil missing.

Do I have to get some stars too to get the final yellow sigil? or is there something else I'm missing?

You've probably missed some level with one more yellow sigil. Check the boards near world entrances A and B.
You don't need stars for that btw.

I unlock the platform tool every time, no problem at all. You must have missed a level. Check again. You don't need stars for this.
The platform tool is used from C3 if I remember correctly? Check if you need to solve C1 and C2 to unlock the platform tool. If you can unlock it, the yellow sigil symbols are all filled and the platform tool with it is flashing.

On a quick run-through of the level entry doors, the only yellow square is in level B-7.

(and, yeah, 4 maps require the platform, within C-2 and C-4 … so 4 sigils — and maybe a star or two).

Indeed, the yellow square you seek is most likely Big Lump of Mine in B7.

That *is* the one. (Bigger issue if the game shows it as already solved and the sigil is missing.)
