i can give some recs based off those
Also, another idea that hasn't been listed yet...check out Pneuma: Breath of Life. Now, some people didn't like it, but mostly because there are a couple of obtuse puzzles (honestly, the Talos Principle is guilty of this in a couple of places, too), and because it's pretty short (~2-3 hours). So, definitely don't pay the $20 price tag. But, if it goes on sale, you find it in a bundle, OR if you're an XBox One player, then it's worth checking out. If you have XBox Live Gold, they gave it away for free one month, which is how I got it. Also, if you're an achievement hunter, most of them are easy in this game, except one which is very, very hard to get. I did it, but never would have accomplished it (at least not in a reasonable amount of time) without looking online for the order of precedence (you'll see what I mean if you decide to go for it). It was honestly kind of annoying, but it also got me another 90 minutes of play time out of the game. :D
Anyway, that's worth checking out. It asks a lot of philosophical things without answering them (well, it kind of answers a few things at the end), and has first-person mechanical puzzles. They mostly rely on perspective in that game, which was what I liked...the mechanics were annoying in a couple of places, but overall I had a lot of fun, especially for free.
Hell, (TP spoiler) TP even has a The Swapper easter egg in it.
Edit: Silly me, just realized that TP and The Swapper were written by the same lead writer! That explains the similar tone and presentation quite well...
