[SOLVED] Game refuses to Start

I bought the Talos Principle for the summer sale and installed it. However when I try to boot it up, nothing happens. It crashes automatically, quick enough to not create a crash log. I tried temporarily disabling Norton 360 Antivirus, validating the files (all successfully validated) but nothing seems to work. Please help! I don't want to feel like I wasted $10!

My Rig (in case it's the problem)

-Windows 10 64 Bit edition (I know, I feel bad for admitting it)
-NVIDIA GT 730 2GB
-8GB GDDR5 Ram
-Intel Core i5 2.7 Ghz Quad Core

How do you know it crashes? Does it popup a message or something? If it just doesn't start without any message, that can sometimes be due to damaged Steam download cache files and even doing verify doesn't help. In that case, I usually recommend you try installing a new instance of Steam side-by-side with this one and install the game there.
Please let me know whether that helps.

I had the same problem, so I tried restarting Steam after I deactivated my antivirus program. It worked with no problems afterwards.

I know that it crashes by this: You notice the blue box that goes green when you start up a game? It goes green to signify that you are playing, then it goes blue 1-2 seconds later to say that you are not playing a game.

For the possible solution though, I have yet to try. Wish me luck.

(Sorry it took me a while to respond, I've been busy with work)

Well I'll be, it actually works! The game starts up with no problems. However, it didn't launch in fullscreen mode. Instead, it launches in windowed mode, which is incredibly annoying if you ask me. Is there anyway to fix that?

Ok nevermind I didn't realize it was buried in the resolution settings (Serious Sam 3 wasn't). I Have no more problems. Thanks!
