the stars, are they worth it?
i spend about an hour just to get this particular star. There are so many. Is the reward worth it?

Reward is an alternate ending, I'd say it's not super exciting. However, if you like challenging Talos puzzles, many of the star solutions themselves are satisfying to figure out, plus they unlock areas with several additional puzzles.

As that guy said these stars are for an alternate ending. Many people just collecting them for a achievement. Otherwise there is nothing much about stars.

The star ending is pretty boring tbh, by far the least rewarding ironically but still fun (i find that Cat Tower is better)

After all your hard work, that is the last but also only thing expected . . right?
After all, there would not be anything else (expectedly) to be done anyway.

I put forth the effort mainly because I like to solve as many puzzles as possible. The extra puzzles they unlock are sort of worth it, but the ending level they unlock is annoying, a typical timed platformer sort of thing. If you are interested in that, they might be worth your time. If you mainly just like the regular untimed puzzles, maybe don't bother.

I find that the stars are important. The rest of the puzzles have been okay, but often can be solved quickly. The stars slow you down and give a more satisfying challenge.
