How do I reach it? I can't slow down to land on the pillar when I use the fan jump, so I can't use the ledge to hop around and reach it.

[EDIT] Hold Right and Jump while facing fan after launching.

Posting here to anyone trying this. Very hard for me to accomplish (haven't landed properly yet), but I do think changing to 3rd person view might help a bit. I've been playing in first person view and was unable to even come close in 1st person view. I was by accident able to manage to control my catapult enough in 3rd person view to redirect enough to fall off the side of the map and over the wall walk around the edges, but never been able to land up high with enough control to stay there. Quite frustrating that it doesn't land a bit better.

I've gotten to it, but has anyone managed to get the required keys up to it? I think it's just there to encourage people to zoom in on the moon.

On B2 (B-2), Has anyone been able to land up high using keyboard and mouse (I use kb/m)? Is it different with controller? B2 has my only remaining star in world B.

- I practice jumping to the side while standing on the ground and even just standing on the ground it doesn't seem I'm able to get enough horizontal distance to ever manage the landing - much less time it properly when my feet briefly tap the top of that one pillar.
- I've tried running at an angle before jumping into the fan, but it seems no directional momentum carries into the flight. I always fly perfectly straight in front of the fan.
- also, it doesn't seem the boxes have mass as I seem to fly just as far holding a box as not. (Making myself heavier doesn't seem to change anything.
- throwing box forward mid-flight doesn't seem to change trajectory
- I was able once to drop the box on top of the pillar, but even with it up there it doesn't seem to stop my flight path. I seem to pass right through it if I jump while it's up there.
- essentially I've tried several days in a row now, can't even get close to landing up there. Only once did I flail around and manage to drop over the wall to the outside of the wall on the ground once. I know nothing about anything else on the level that might be required to get the star - but I'm thinking my skills might not be up to it.

For anyone who has managed the landing - were you able to do it with kb/m? thanks, I'll probably keep trying, but seems futile at the moment.

When you can't walk, you crawl. When you can't do that, find someone to carry you.

And when that doesn't work, try mashing the jump button.

It isn't strictly speaking necessary in order to get the star. But it might give you ideas that come in handy later.

Only played it keyboard/mouse, so I'm not sure if controller is easy or harder for this particular leap of logic.

It isn't anything at all to do with getting any star.

Wow this is super punishing... very hard to do consistently and if you fail landing with the cube, you end up on the other side and have to reset, at each failed attempt.

I think it is...
