do you have to make a choice between the "heaven door", or get to the tower top?

avoid spoilers please..
i am almost done with the normal sigils (missing some red ones, i didnt cared much about the stars or grey ones so far)
and i am wondering if this game has 2 endings and i have to play a new save to see the other ending

i just want to know if you climb the tower you can't get trough the "heaven" door, or if you go trough the heaven door the game resets or some stuff like that... if the game has like 2 endings

there are 3 endings that i know of and one of them requires all the grey blocks (and thus stars to access those areas), red ones for the tower. i've never gone through the 1st ending as i've always done the tower

Whatever ending you decide to take, you can always load a previous backup and complete the other endings.

thanks for the reply, backup? as in the option in the menu, the game goes back to before entering the last door (like in zelda)..
or should i manually copy the save?

Yes, there's the option in the menu, it basicly loads one of the earlier saves.

You can return from every ending. Once you pass the top floor of the tower, there is a long ascent on a winding stairs; only once you reach the top of those stairs will the game prevent you from returning.
But you can absolutely solve EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE in the entire game - both the 3D puzzles (rooms) and the tetromino puzzles (2D locks on doors).

One of the endings can be affected by choices you make in the game so that particular ending can have variations. Those variations are not necessary, but if you are someone who values achievements, it's a nice payoff for going through the trouble.
