I actually used a guardian to help me through a puzzle, but only once. I never wasted time on that again
The second playthrough consisted of 100% puzzle completion (no easter eggs), and was less than 30hrs. Actually, fun fact - nearly 10hrs from this playthrough was while attempting to solve the Weathertop star puzzle.
No joke.
Never viewed a play through video.
I keep forgetting where I've already been when searching.
Seriously Slow progress for a non gamer with old timers.
But thats good means it will never end for me.
Extra time spent finding and completing some easter eggs.
I was able to get the stars that were locked behind puzzles, but I had to use a walkthrough to find some of the hidden ones. I don't like obessively checking every corner of a level.
Also needed a guide on that one star in Gehenna that required putting a laser redirector on top of a thin dividing wall. Honestly thought the game's physics wouldn't have allowed that.
I agree. It's so irritating checking every corner and very time consuming. It's not fun like the puzzles themselves. One star you had to use a reflector on one hidden receiver which was outside the puzzle levels. There's no way one could've known that except using a walk through.
The puzzle levels are either absurdly easy or absurdly hard.
