Graphic resolution stuck
Hit a strange problem with graphic resolution. Tried a bunch of graphic settings changes after that last upgrade which made the textures all go black before I found the article saying to use the beta tab to change back to previous version including switching from full screen to windowed mode.

Now that I'm back on the "previous version" and my black texture problem is fixed, my resolution seems to be stick in 1920x1080. Any attempt to change resolution results in the screen contents "shifting" making it impossible to click the YES / NO buttons or there's a giant red bar across the entire top of the screen and the program menus are shifted off the bottom of the screen.

I've tried using the "defaults" option to set everything to default and that just results in the top half of the screen turning red. Everything was working perfectly at my native panel res of 3840 x 2160 until 3am today when I stopped playing (yes, this is addictive as hell) and presumably Steam auto-updated it to the "black texture" version and my subsequent rollback to "previous version"

Is there any way to reset the graphics options back to defaults outside of the program so I can get a hopefully clean startup at the proper resolution.

I finally managed to get this fixed...

1. Switched back to Windowed mode so that the resolution would go back to 3840x2160 with Talos running in a 1920x1080 window.
2. Exited
3. Reloaded and went back to config, changed to Full Screen and 3840x2160 (both had to change at the same time)

Game finally reset to 4k res without shifting the window or putting red bars across the screen

Thanks, I had a weird message saying my resolution was limited to 1080p and fixed it this way.

If anyone else is still having trouble, try increasing the "Max 3D Rendering MPIX" in the Graphics Options. Even though I have a 4K screen, it was rendering 3d graphics in 1080p.
