The Location names are a little more tricky in that they are usually multi-component names.
Focusing on village\town\city you have:
(first component Wolf)
Wolfhaven
Wolfton
Wolfhill
Wolfburg
(Second component Haven)
Stonehaven
Icehaven
Borrowhaven
Lighthaven
And then there is pre-components:
Little (Little Wolfhaven)
Solem (Solem Wolfhaven)
Red (Red Wolfhaven)
And then there is post-components
Post (Wolfhaven Post)
Castle (Wolfhaven Castle)
Keep (WolfHavne Keep)
Method #1 - Locations > Select and Clone or Add New and edit name/desc/resources > Change name/desc in upper left > Be sure Create Map Label toggle is ON and random name is OFF > CONTROL + LMB on map adds
Method #2 - Locations > Select Location > CONTROL + LMB spam on map where you want locations > Edit Map > Locations > LMB a location > edit name/desc/resources which will also edit the label.
If you are looking to add to the base text file of location names for the random map just send them to me, make sure there aren't any duplicates and if they pass my sniff test I will add them. No silly names like "Puppyville", "Catsmeow", or "Fartshaven"
The file is located under C:\Users\...user name...\Documents\KingdomDungeonAndHero\Data\txtNamesLocation.txt
But it gets updated every patch.
\Documents\KingdomDungeonAndHero\Data\NamesMale.txt
\Documents\KingdomDungeonAndHero\Data\txtNamesFemale.txt
I don't have particular place-names or hero-names to suggest for the main game: rather, I was thinking about the possibility of creating scenarios in the Editor that might feature, for example, Scottish names or Viking names, or something like that. :-)

I agree ( https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Mod_Content_Usage#:~:text=Using%20content%20from%20other%20mods,-It's%20a%20sad&text=Even%20if%20a%20mod%20is,the%20copyright%20for%20their%20work. ) you ought not to do so, but a modder can do what they want on their own pc, if they then decide to share it through the net they hit the same legal issue if the owner objects.
So here is Forgotten realms for modders to work from.
