I loved the game as a secret hunting game where hunting for the shortcut was pretty fun, but without the shortcut, the game would have been way less fun as the fall are too punishing. Also falling take forever, maybe having a button to press to fall faster would be cool, cause sometime resetting and taking the shortcut is just faster than waiting to land.
