- The graphics are terrible, which is not a sin in and of itself, except my PC should be able to do better than ~30 fps with them (i7-3770K, GTX 680 SLI); terrible, awful, pathetic optimization
- Load times are so long that CI Games should be embarrassed. Isn't there a special place in hell for allowing such long load times on PC?
- The game's A.I. is brain dead; I literally camped out in front of a doorway while five Nazis came charging in at me, and I easily popped each of them with a single pistol bullet.
- The voice acting is lame and the story does no justice to the source material.
- This is yet another case of having an American hero for no other reason than it's easier to market to American audiences. Why is the "star" of the Polish resistance an American? Not only that, but an American *journalist*? It just screams "stupid."
- Probably the worst part of all of this is the game is advertised as something it is not. This is a simple, no-frills FPS circa 2004. This is NOT some awesome new concept where you find multiple paths and can choose stealth or guns blazing or whatever bunch of malarkey CI Games put on the store page. Here's an example: in an early level you infiltrate a church. The big "choice" is to either enter from the catacombs below or blow a hole in the side of the church. I tried both options. No matter which path you choose, you end up pretty much in the same spot in the church within 30 seconds.
- The screenshots on the Steam page are NOT representative of this game's graphics. Those have been doctored to a nearly criminal degree. Steam should step in and demand they be removed.
Of all the problems this game has, the one thing I like about it is the music. The score is a great throwback to some of the earlier WWII shooters like Medal of Honor and early Call of Duty games.
single player rocks to "me"..
- screenhots on store page look nice, and these places indeed look like this in game ( well, sort of, ish ) BUT if you go through these levels and start exploring them, you will find that they are not representing overall graphics quality throughout gameplay, because of the reasons I mentioned above.
- enemies on levels are placed unevenly. on some theres nice action ( I prefer run & gun with approaching from diffrent sides ) and on some it is too short and too little. this game gives you a good dish at places, while at others only a taste for short period.
- despite big amount of space on levels, this space is not used efficiently. enemies are placed too "realistically". too little of them.
- AI - to give the game justice - strongy disagree its braindead. in general it is not ( oh, Im judging upon my run&gun playthrough, not stealthy one! ). SOME enemies are, but they are minority imo, but still, thay are too passive, their aproper actions dont trigger, they wait quietly there even if they should be aware of you and attacking having you in the line of sight. you can have problems yourself finding a nearby enemy because he is hiding from you behind some crate waiting quielt as a mouse while you are making a lot of noise.
- too little overall content. game doesnt feel like a 10 hour game at all. most likely like 6, but definitely not like 10.
- no survival mode to singleplayer to make up for short campaign to give player fun with game mechanics.
- no horde mode for multiplayer - that would be really nice!
- bad looking hit indicator. "x" mark hides what's behind him. it should indicate hit, not cover the target, even for split second.
- buggy unbalanced multiplayer that needs fixing it's elements ( not going into deails here ).
Happens to me thirty or more minutes in. Here are my specs.
