Any way to disable the lens flare and bokeh?
I was watching some videos and everywhere the player looked, the screen was choke-full of lens flare and bokeh effects, it literally made my eyes watery. The game seems really cool but these effects make it unplayable (for me at least). Any way to disable them?

There is a system.cfg file with some settings, but I didn't bother editing the values. Make a backup and have at it.

I agree that the omnipresent lens flare effect of this game is terrible and renders the game virtually unplayable. Thankfully it can be easily removed. Open the game's
system.cfg file (located in the game's main directory) in a text editor and add the following line to it: r_Flares=0
Placing this line below the r_SSAO line is a good spot.

Now, go forth and enjoy the game without the eye torture!

By the way I also wanted to update your question on the gamefaqs website, but the thread was locked due to age.
