FOV Changer?
Does anyone have any information about the Optimization in the game and if there will be an FOV changer?

I would have bought this game in an instant but City Interactive rarely cares about FOV.

I am wondering as well, I am not able to play games on PC with a console 60 FOV.
Not possible to change FOV = no buy.

It can be changed in a cfg file.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Enemy Front\system.cfg

open system with notepad and adjust

cl_fov=55
r_DrawNearFov=44

When i try to change the FOV nothing happens. No matter what i set them to it still looks the exact same.
cl_fov=80
r_DrawNearFov=75

Same here. While on topic - has anyone figured out what else in system config file that can be changed? I see a number of values I am not familiar with but it seems like there is quite a bit to fiddle with. Any Ideas?

i searched for another config file, maybe placed in my documents like most other games.. the original "backup" config file is placed within the install directory while the user config file is in the game folder created within my docs.

Its looking unlikely that the config file in the steamapp folder changes anything. I came to this conclusion when changing settings in game to low, low res, no vsync, etc., which take effect within the game but when you exit the game and check the config file to see if it saved the in game changes nothing has changed.

There must be another config file somewhere,.. My bet is that it is in the same location as the save files for your single player progress. Question is,. where the hell is that folder?

unless im doing something wrong,... which is also possible

Changing the FOV in the steamapps folder works for me so must be something with your installation.

Works perfectly I'm using 75 and 60, 75 looks closer to 100 or 105 degrees to my eyes.

ok, so i do notice a differnce with the cl_fov setting,. however the r_drawnearfov doesnt aprear to make any differnce. the gun is still gigantic and takes up half the screen. Isnt the drawnearfov setting supposed to move the gun further out from the camera?
