Moonfrost is a premium cosy life-sim RPG for PC with a focus on repairing and rebuilding a broken world, featuring handcrafted pixel art and a magical world to explore!

We’re aiming for an Early Access launch sometime in 2026!

That will depend on your feedback! Our goal is to reach version 1.0 at some point in early 2027 but we’re open to adding extra content over time if there’s enough interest!

No. Moonfrost has no NFTs or any blockchain features and never will.
Early in development, the game was originally planned as a free-to-play, live-service experience that included optional blockchain elements. The idea was that a small portion of players could support development by purchasing and trading certain items, while most players could simply enjoy a cosy life-sim adventure for free. This concept helped fund the early stages of development, and we even released an early access version of the game on a Web3 platform.

However, as Moonfrost continued to evolve, it became clear that this direction wasn’t the right fit for the game. We decided to step away from that model, remove the live-service and blockchain elements, and refocus on what matters most: a premium, offline, wholesome, story-driven experience.

At the moment we are focusing on Windows PC first. We may explore additional platforms in the future.

Moonfrost is currently designed as a single-player experience. Our focus is on creating a rich and relaxing cosy world for players to explore at their own pace. At a later point, if it makes sense, we’re open to adding some multiplayer features!

Moonfrost draws inspiration from games such as Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and The Sims, while building its own world and systems. Our goal is to create a familiar yet unique experience for players who love the genre.

You can expect many of the standard life-sim features such as farming, fishing, cooking, resource scavenging, romancing… but a focus on restoring a ravaged village, building and decorating unique homes for you and the other NPCs as you unravel the truths behind your mysterious past and the origins of the second moon that looms over our world.

No. Moonfrost has been meticulously handcrafted by humans over the course of several years.
