Microscope puzzle

Why? This is like Hungarian Rings from hell. Otherwise, the rest of the demo is a lot of fun. The previous game Son's Room was enjoyable as well. I'm looking forward to Laboratory, if I can muster the patience to get through the microscope puzzle.

I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed the demo! I don't have a lot of experience in game development, so I think I'm not yet proficient in level design... I will make more efforts to create a game with a suitable level of difficulty!
As for the microscope puzzle, it is designed like a 2D representation of a Rubik's Cube where you match one face. I think this could be helpful for you to solve the puzzle.

Thank you for your reply. I never was very good at solving a Rubik's cube. One challenging puzzle will not deter me from playing the game when the full version is released. I think your games are great!

I couldn't solve it either, but the rubik's cube analogy helped right away!

Maybe draw a little cube as a hint on the poster :)

I still cant do it. I love puzzles but im bad at these visual ones. If possible, a skip button would be nice if it can be patched in.

I also do not wish for the enjoyment of the game to be compromised or significantly delayed due to a single puzzle. However, it appears that this particular puzzle is proving to be more challenging for many people than initially thought, and I am currently contemplating solutions. If an appropriate resolution cannot be found, I am also considering implementing a patch that would allow players to skip the puzzle, as you suggested.

I will make every effort to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

That's great! I cleared it with some difficulty on two separate playthroughs before the achievement was added. It looks like there is no way to get that achievement retroactively, having already cleared the puzzle. In order for this new achievement to pop, I suppose that part would have to be played through again???
