Game stuck on loading screen

No Mods or Custom Content and the game is just stuck on the loading screen doesn't load at all

Try verifying your game files.

Close your pc down, restart then log into steam. Click library select Cities Skylines, right click on Cities Skylines and choose properties, click on local files and verify the integrity of the game files.

mine did this.. i stared at it for 10 minutes and used alt-tab to switch to the start screen. it was hiding behind the launcher screen.

literally lost my biggest maps because they wont load anymore (which is prolly because back in the day i would build maps with a bunch of custom assets that dont work anymore), all mods disabled, clean reinstall, restarted the pc lmao this game is a perfect demonstration of selling out, not only do the old mods not work but my old maps that took me like 30-40 hours each to make are now completely incompatible. Btw alot of the dlcs are remakes of old mods that used to be free, and now these dont work and your only option is to buy dlcs lmao rip cities skylines

Close the game then verify your files. Relaunch the game go to the mods options and check out the report or upload your report file via a free site like https://file.io

This game has terrible performance.... it got worse over the years instead of better. It's a memory hog just for starters
