Update broke my game... help!
I just set up Linux (new SSD) and downloaded Cities Skylines. Started a game, then left a few hours later. Then Steam forced an update on me. Now policies dont work (cant open up window) and it also broke my "Loading Screen Mod." (won't work). WTF... if there are updates, then tell me before I start a game, NOT 3 HOURS LATER. This is why I left Windows OS... FORCED UPDATES!

Anyone got any solutions?

It looks like not your problem,we're all having the same issues because of CO's latest update which came out an hour ago

This update was announced months ago. Sorry you had your head in a hole. just be patient.

Every time they release new DLC it breaks mods for a lot of players, I'm not sure if that is your issue. I suggest not using those mods until they are updated but I am not sure if the modding community is still around much for CS1 I could be wrong. I got lucky this time as I only get a message for TMP not being up to date but it still works. In the past their DLCs have broken my game badly.
Same here. TMPE, Move it and Network mod say they need an update to be compatible with v1.19.2-f3. As far as I can tell, the game works fine despite the warnings-- all except for Loading Screen Mod revisited which refuses to load.

Same here. Algernom will update LSM. Just be patient :steamhappy:

The only error I got were of mod needing a recompile. The mod didn't change, it just needs a game patch update to say it is current. The mods still work as it didn't alter the mod itself.

I tested a mod collection of over 100 subscriptions with no issue.

This update was for assets only, which assets shouldn't affect anything. At worst, the game may have had dev patches and ai adjustments like every patch.

Same. 100+ mods yet the game is still working just fine here. Move it and traffic related mod are working as intended
I can't open any of my saved games with Road Builder enabled.
Mine opened just fine. I also subscribed to Road Builder's assets collection.

But I never used road builder yet. I will have to find time to test later on.

I had same problem. It was cause paradox launcher form me. I just launch game without launcher and that works.
