Is there a mod that fix the policy UI not showing bug?
This bug where everytime you boot the game and then click on the policy button, your policy window is not showing despite you can see the close icon on the lower right. I know this bug has been around ever since the game exist and that the devs til this day never fixed this bug despite many players encountering this issue.

I also know a temporary fix is to save the game after launching then exit to main menu then load the latest saved game in this order but the problem is, it is a hassle to keep doing this everytime I wanna play it.

Is there a mod out there that fixes this bug? Because I still can't find a permanent fix for this. And before asking me if I have mods installed that caused this, no. I do not have mods installed in this game ever and I also know a lot of players out there with no mods encounter this issue as well.

If you resume/continue the game, then try saving it with a new name and load the new city.

or try to post a saved game and link it here. It's a lot easier if we can see your city in action and maybe get it working.

It is really hard to guess what could be wrong, otherwise.

I have never come across this "bug" in my 9k hours.

Just thought to say.

You are one of the lucky ones, I guess.

For me, I experience it most times I try to access the districts policy. On the odd occasion it does decide to display it I just set city wide policies, rather than on an individual district basis.

I also play no mods, so it's definitely not caused by mods.

Maybe I never had issues with it as I chose to not adjust taxes nor budgets and not use policies.

Messing with these three things can have a positive or negative effect or both, so I got tired of looking them up and figuring out their side effects and just decided to not use any of them any more. Now I have had a more stable city experience.

I have them all set to 9% taxes, 100% budgets and no policies and it has been smooth sailing since. It has been a nice experience with a much more stable city.

Not sure if getting others to load my savefile is gonna replicate the issue but here it is. I just named my save file "AA" and that was after I try saving it with a new name. That did fix it but only temporary as well cause the next day it happened again.

I even tried playing on my laptop but in a brand new game and the issue is also there the moment I unlocked the policy.

Edit: The most common way that this bug triggers at least for me is you saving your game after unlocking your policy then exit. Then 'resume' your game via the launcher itself.

Yeah, it runs fine for me. I restarted it a few times. What platform are you running it on? I'm using win11.

win10, same goes with my laptop. My friend did not encounter this issue either and he even tried my save file.

Maybe try Paradox Forums. They may be able to diagnose it there with their tools.

Make a report for PC.
