Yellow everything.
I really enjoy the night look in the game. It's great for the asthetic appearance and blends really well with any city.

However... the day time:

I don't want to complain too much but the yellowish warm look is way overdone. There isn't even really a big difference between the color schemes anymore. They all look like NFS most wanted...

I would surely like more control over the color and intensity.

I'm a heavy modder and uses texture replacements quite often to create interseting environments. One of which is completely alpine snow and I'm busy with that now. The snow texture is completely white however all the new color schemes turn the entirety of the landmass yellow.

I'd have preferred deeper greens during the day instead of yellow IMHO. But yellow does work well with the Tropical themed maps though.

I agree. The night looks great but the transition between mid day and night is terrible looking. I've also noticed that the graphics look worse. As if there is no anti-aliasing any more.
Even the default European maps that came with 1.1.1c all look yellowish now which is kind of disappointing.

I really want to get that rich green hue the game initially had during the game's early development phase:

I seem to remember that after the initial release the devs listened to the feedback they got and responded appropriately. I'm sure they will do the same here.

So far though I've no big issues with the look of the game, nothing that spoils it anyway.
Too much yellow feels like drought season though... wait.. could this be a hint of a season update next?

There will be many mods that will change this very soon. In the mean time you can kind of hack around it by making a color profile for the game in your graphics card configuration app or in your monitor if it has support for such things.

Yeah! +1 x 1.000.000... \o,
You're not complaining too much.
These great finn devs/artits should learn from this modder. After [the] Dark (night) my city is looking great but during the day (which I think they shouldn't have changed anything, at least in the period that simulates the time between 9AM to 4PM).
I think the problem isn't LUT but the sun color, light, tint, brightness, etc.
See this pic: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/536267337467474723/32933DF710751A01CC3FBC11CF7773458D296A0C - my city is looking like in the third column whole the day cicle - horrible...! ...in which should be only for the sunset (yellow with a little purple - like in the first column) and for the sunrise (yellow with a little orange - like in the middle column).
I'm unable to play of so much that is bothering me, because, remembering how my town was beautiful during the day and even hindering me of get off the game.
Now we are needing a After Clear update... ¬¬

@Masoot You were right about mods :)
If you don't like that yellow color of sunlight, you can use my Daylight Classic mod. It also makes pre-AD LUTs work properly.
