Why was the folding added to simulation?
Adjusting your brush size can also help, but can be tedious
That is the result if i smooth when i use smallest brush possible.
I usually did this but it did not work out. Tool says both have the same height so it did not change the outlook.
You will also want to turn the strength down a lot to something like 0.1
In the first pic it seems to work out ...

... but in the following pic you see it cant be repaired since one step later it comletely destroys the area.

And i did not had this ugly phenomen before and in the editor i cant see it.
Your brush size (Pinselgrösse) is still set to "single" (Einzeln). Turn it up just a little bit so it's a number instead. I think 15 is the smallest the game can do. Then it will stop doing what it's doing right now.
Sorry but i did not make a pic with 15. But the result is nearly identically. I still wonder why it looked fine in the editor and like that ingame.
