Is there a way to turn off smog?
I mean, industrial areas show a dense fog/smoke, is there a way to turn it off?

Thanks,

workshop --> something with clouds. You cant miss it.
I wonder, why this "fog" was implemented in the first place. For me It just looks really ugly!

To each his own I guess, seeing as the Devs thought it was pretty. Same with that blaring "yellowish" saturation.
If it was real fog, okay. But for me it just looks like a grey filter applied to the industrial zones.

Because it's somewhat realistic? Because it adds to the visuals? Because it works well with the other additions of nighttime lighting?
Thanks for the replies.

Well, it's indeed a matter of tastes, but when I drive around the industrial area of my city I don't actually see such a thick fog. I've seen something like that in some Beijing videos, maybe it's common over very large cities, at certain weather conditions... but in game, when you have a dozen structures in the middle of nowhere, that are under a thick grey fog that you have difficulties to tell the details, I found it annoying..

The mod works perfectly, thanks again.
So now Im wondering: Am I the only one who sees the fog not as volumetric fog but rather as just a filter applied wich makes everything look like its greyed out?
Yes. Plenty of volume here.
Hmm interesting I should look that one up on google. Because I only disabled it since it lookes like all greyed out to me.
Yes I had the same impression. Not a real volumetric fog.
