I don't want european theme

I notice that as soon as I play on an europe themed map it's automaticly eoropean buildings like totally different hospitals and firestations etc. basicly every building is european themed. I know there are mods to make the "vanilla" building theme change to european theme but I have not seen any mod to remove it so to say. Is it possible to get the vanilla building theme instead of european?

I managed to get the vanilla hospital and firestation but when I tried zoning the building theme where still european?

You can enable/disable it in the settings, I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if that affects the building theme.

I guess i'm doing something wrong because I cant get the european buildings to stop spawning

In content manager,look under the 'themes' sub-heading and turn off the european themed buildings. That should give you back the American themed buildings. I'm not sure how this affects already saved games though. To notice the difference after changing this setting, you may have to start a new game on a new map.

Bah, I heard the Euro theme was giving issues. Tis why I ain't tried it myself yet. You may have to try reinstalling the game from scratch. DLC included if you have that too.

I have done that too :D but don't bother, I'll either wait until a patch/new mod comes out or I'll just play with it. Ty for everything anyway ^^

Well once you load a map with the theme on you can turn it off but the buildings won't change.

draw a district to where you want to change, apply theme to that district. be warning, current style theme buildings will be removed and replaced by new one, may lead to mass imbalancing in economy.

I did that too but there still spawn some european buildings in between the normal ones

and I tried "deactivating" every eu building one by one too but I always miss some

maybe you should ask the author on the mods' homepage as it does work fine, I have my European map for my old town and newer development around the old centre is international using those mods. do as Nita said and it should work. You may have to force the buildings to change by demolishing the old ones though.
