Mod that stops cars from slowing down or stopping to change lanes

All of my traffic problems are caused by the awful car AI deciding to randomly stop in the middle of the highway in order to change lanes. IRL, cars on the highway do not stop to change lanes. Is anyone aware of a mod (or able to make one) that prevents cars from slowing down or stopping to change lanes?

I do, it doesnt stop cars from slowing down to change lanes though...

I had the advanced lane changing option set to maximum and it only made traffic jams worse. Disabling it made it about 50% better. I also had it set to holy city.

Could it be because your ramps have too few lanes so the cars are all forced to line up or merge at the last second?

I have enough lanes, the issue isnt cars doing it at the last second, its that they stop in the middle of the road to do it.

Do you have too many nodes to close or is there by any change an intersection or some roads require you need to tell the cars they can go through with TMPE

When you say stopping and then lane changing are they jumping lanes as well. They are not going into the lane beside them but the next one to it? If so TMPE will not deal with those for the issue is NOT enough nodes to properly change lanes into so they jump lanes. This can stop traffic. If your issue is similar to the video clip below then follow the repair shown and it should work out.
