How to remove lots of trees fast?

There is any way to demolish many trees at once?

Since the trees go away when building over them, I've never felt the need just to demolish a forest. If you've got that deep green forest on the resource map, it would be a perfect place to set up a forestry industrial zone.

But if you must destroy the trees, there is a mod, Better Bulldozer

Without using mod? Click and drag should limmit that it only takes out plants but it does only take em out one at a time. Most mods that deal with trees do I believe use a brush tool. I use this.

Yeah, the click and hold method OneJasonBradly mentions works across the board. I've only recently discovered that holding the mouse down when deleting stuff will delete more of the same type. Example, I used to delete a road clicking segment by segment !! Much faster now I just hold the mouse button down !!

Another tip. If you have a BUNCH of trees to delete, tilt the map appprox. 20 degrees from flat and click and drag to delete from there. If you try it from the top-down, it takes forever. At an angle, you can "grab" from the root to the top's tip.

The solution is simple. Install and use the mod "Extra Landscaping Tools". Go to the Tree Brush Tool. Increase the volume of pencil for trees with the + button on your keyboard to a bigger size. To reduce the size use the - button.
Go to the trees they want to delete. With a right mouse-click you can delete the trees under the brush-area.
The larger the brush, the larger the area under which you can erase trees.

This is the second function of the brush tool.
