Load Screen Crash, First time boot up, No mods., no DLC
There are obviously a lot of threads on this based on googling, but all of them had DLC, Mods, or a bad PC (like chromebook bad). I don't believe my PC is that bad, but feel free to tell me otherwise.

My best guess would be you're running out of RAM. 8 GB should be enough for just the basegame, but with stuff running in the background, that might be it. Did you have a popup mentioning a folder (numbers as the name)? That will have log files that can tell us what caused the crash.

I heard increasing the page file pool thingy might help

If it is running out of RAM, then increasing the pagefile to 16 or 32 GB will do the trick yes.

it ran well after a restart, i just disabled all background apps and it went okay.
Thanks for your suggestions!

ok, generally as I am using CS on a daily base:

If I had run CS for hours on my computer and want to exit the game:
- exit the game
- have to restart the computer (if I want to play CS again)
- then it works without any issues

- if I put my computer to sleep and open it next morning and then load CS I get a crash most of the time and a long list of missing items!
