25 tiles and

81 tiles
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=576327847
use the 81 tiles only if you have a good computer, unlock all tiles at once
and you cannot use both mods!
thank you kind sir.
i will probably go for the 81 one. since i run a i9 900k and a rtx 2080. will probably not build on all of them anyways.
what DLCs do you recomend? i dont have any of them, and the radio ones seems pointless cause it only gives music it seems.
also, iknow a website where i get all of them for 60 euro...
so the price is not really an issue.. its more that i dont want to spend on really worthless DLCs.
Parklife
Green Cities
Industries
After Dark
I also like these:
High Tech Buildings
Art Deco
Modern City Center
Modern Japan
Concerts
While I do have Sunset Harbor and like some of what it adds, others not here, not necessarily.
I agree with your top five and would probably put Sunset Harbor at #6 actually. I think it's a better all-around DLC than Campus, Disasters, Snowfall, etc.
But I also don't think the op should buy too many DLCs at once because the more DLCs you buy, the more complex the game becomes...sometimes in a bad way (esp. for a new player). The base game already is quite complicated, so a lot of folks will recommend you take it slow on DLCs. They are a double edged sword. And this is not an easy game to learn.
ah will probably buy all of them except radio then, i downloaded that 81 tiles Mod that is little bit up in this thread.... but they are not unlocked?... do i have to do something to unlock them? i still just start with one tile.. "lol only have 6 hours in this game"..
This means that a save using 81 tiles is depending on that mod and if the mod breaks, you might not be able to load your city again. While the 25 tiles mods can be disabled safely and your city will still function.
i will probably change to the 25 tiles then just incase. but how to activate them? <3
ah alright. thank you.
i just tried my first game lol. build some houses.. 1 water pump and 3 windmills.. already got - 2000 and had to restart lol. xD will try a couple of times untill i get a hang of it before i get the dlcs.
I would just focus on trying to grow a city to like 10-20k population while you are learning. You will certainly make mistakes and have regrets. You will learn some things that work, and somethings that don't.
But I would at least try to get that far into a city, to have a better understanding about game systems, before restarting again. (Probably traffic will doom your city at like 20k population XD)
aye! i remember when i tried it a bit longer at release at a friends place..
what doomed me was the Dying people lol. i build so many burners and those that pick up the dead, yet trafic jams made them unable to pick up the dead so people left my city xD was so pissed i didnt play it since.
