Only a Mouse
I really want to play this game but I don't want to have to use a keyboard to move the screen. Is there any way I can set it up so only the mouse is necessary --similar to SimCity and Timberborn?

Not as far as I know.

Yes, you can use the mouse to scroll the map. just edge scroll by moving the cursor to the edge of the map.

There is also a click-n-drag mouse scrolling mod in the workshop that still seems to work.

I believe if you right click and drag it will move the screen, then use the middle mouse button to zoom and tilt

Right click does almost the same thing as left click in this game.

Been awhile since I played last, couldn't remember the controls entirely

Played SimCity for a long, long time. This mod has many features besides the obvious zoom function. It's map scroll feature is great, if you wish check out any of my videos in my profile to see it in action. It's first person view is easy and has different speeds of movement.
All around a great mod.
to me it is a trusted mod that I still am using.

Interesting - I've played this for years and only used my mouse. I'm sure I didn't have to use anything special!

That Mouse Drag Camera mod seemed to have satisfied my issue. Right-click drag was what wasn't working without this mod.

I've found this mod very helpful. You should only have to move your mouse and use the scroll wheel.

Edit - sorry, I apparently can't figure out how to embed the mod...

Just so everyone is aware this also zooms to cursor. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1406625743
Along with everything else it does like mouse scroll, first person view and extra zooming.
It's like four mods in one. Value mod.

To enable mod, start Cities them from the choices go into "Content Manager" Then "Mods". Find the mod and click the box so it's green. You should be good to go then. To disable use the same instructions but to remove the green from the box.
