The clip below I place trees while in noise pollution overlay so you can see the effects of the trees on sound. I push the noise back to the train station with the trees.

look at the comments, natural resources won't show on the map when that is active

I mean yeah. It's a feature of the mod, so if I go enable the one to hide the color changes from natural resources, then the mod will do exactly what it's supposed to do and hide them. ;)
@Kompaktive: No More Radioactive Desert and More is just visual. It doesn't change anything other than how things look, so it can be disabled again. The only danger is really forgetting that the ground is polluted when you can't see it and poisoning your citizens. Not that I've done that ofc! Ahem... :P
If some day you are without internet connection you're probably better off picking up a book. Or just going outside for a while. And ya I already know what happens if I mind my own business. :)
