Windmills can increase or decrease power while have certain kind of weather.
The consumption is fluctuating.
But i don’t see buildings that lose power only when those cunsumption spikes happen.
This would be my guess as well. If you don't have any heating plants, then electricity will be used to heat houses as temperatures go down.
Do you have any factories that might halt production at times (and stop consuming electricity)? Industries DLC areas might do this when they are waiting for resources to be delivered.
I have a huge area for ore and a medium sized for farming.
Now i think about it. It started shortly after adding some smaller factory areas with warehouses for goods and roads to enter the city for the goods
The warehouse income started to fluctuate a lot since i added those. They always send trucks in groups for an unknown reason. Even when full and i set it on empty.
Thank you i will try turning the warehouses off. And see what happens
It wasn’t the industrial areas but the switch from day to night but also the stadiums and festival areas that activated at the same time.
Nothing you can control
