Metro Line tool not working
I have been trying to edit the metro line in my city and all of a sudden I can no longer connect metro stations, even straight line station. I deleted an existing line that was in use but now I can no longer connect metro stops. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

If you cannot connect, it means you have broken node.

Could you please post a screenshot or save of your game so we can see why it fails?

Probably problem with mods? If so you'd also list your mods

I am also thinking yours is a broken connection problem.

one possibility: you built your metro pre sunset harbor and the game mechanic tweak did not impact your game until you switched to a new line over the same set of track. think sharp 90 degree track turns which were permissible before but not after SH.

Here is a screenshot. I never had a problem before, in fact the line that I'm trying to add had already been a working line I just made some changes.

Could you please put your link in here?

Thank you for the screenshot. From there I cannot see why it is not working for you.

Maybe I load your city and check it out. Do you have a save I can load?

Delete the route and try again, from the station on the right to the station on the left. If it still does not create a route between the two, there is an issue with the tracks between the 2 stations, probably the tracks leaving the station on the left heading to the station on the right.

I've never loaded a save game, but would love your help? I tried downloading a saved game and here's the link, let me know if this works?

@kwoods24, I am sorry to say but I cannot get your game going. Even if I only load what you use and then it seems mods collide.

You might have to try someone else.

But that said I saw you have 630'000 people in your city. It could be that you just hit the limit on a line counter.

I had the problem in my last city that I couldn't do anymore bus stops and I had less people than you

Those are custom metro station assets, which I think is where the problem is. When I hold Shift I can place stops just fine, which indicates that the stations are missing some internal spawners.

Spawn Point Fix should solve that, but looks like it isn't for some reason. So you might want to either change the metro stations to another building that works better or just live with the fact that you have to hold Shift to add stops to those.
