Error workshoop
For a few hours I have not been able to comment on the worshop, nor on my shared assets. It tells me: Sorry, an error has occurred: A communication error with the network has occurred. Try again later. Is it happening to someone else or just me?
Thank you

It’s likely to be a Steam server issue I’d say.

Surely. The funny thing is that I can enter any article, but I can neither comment nor change the page. Here i can comment...

It’s likely to be affecting everyone. You can report the bug to Steam Support but it’s likely you will have to wait for it to be fixed.

Also, now, the game breaks when I try to enter the asset editor. I have replaced some MODs and I get to enter, but when trying to edit some network it is cut. It has to be a bug in the latest game update or something. I'll have to wait a few days to see if someone fixes it

It’s better to disable mods before using the editor as some do not work properly there.

Always disable mods you don't absolutely need in the editor. Most mods weren't designed to be used in the editor and try to do all sorts of things, which aren't possible there. So they cause a bunch of different issues. :)

This may be a problem with the steam server. Wait for the official solution of steam

I do not wish to hijack the thread but as long as you mentioned it here I go any way.

Seems like a lot of trouble... Activate mods for game...Deactivate for editor...Reactivate for...... O Well you get what I'm talking about? are there a way to have two lists of activated mods? or a way to mark mods for say Full time, Games Only, Editor Compatible, Occasional Only

The easiest and most reliable way I have found is to set up different Steam accounts. With Family Sharing only one account needs to own the game, so it just requires additional email adresses. Then you have different sets of subscriptions for the different needs. I have one for building my cities and another for asset creation, which just the props, trees and mods I need for that.

Thank Avania. Disabling MODs I can enter the asset editor. The problem is that I can't comment inito Workshop

Try now as it should now be possible.
ManuRamos Aug 3, 2020 @ 12:11pm
