Hydro Dam is Passing Water but not Producing Electricity
I placed a hydro dam on my map it was working fine then all of sudden it stopped working but water is still going through and there is alot of current but it just isnt producing power i tried replacing it for it to do the same thing

If you can post some screenshots of the setup or share the save to the workshop, that would help us figure out what's up. Sometimes water will flow around it if there's space, which stops the water from getting high enough behind it. Other times water flow will change and flow away from the dam, so it stops working.

Finicky things, dams. I removed the dam from my previous map as it had surges of water at the start of every gameplay session and I had to build ugly stuff to keep the water back. I eventually removed the dam and also the ugly flood prevention stuff.

Anyway, I found that giving as much height difference between the high and low side of the water levels on either side produces the most electricity, but the production is always inconsistent so the output should not be relied upon. I use nuclear plants for that.
