How best to zoom in close to add detail to my city?

Hi guys,

I haven't had any time to play CS for ages but want to get back into it now I have a little time to spend and I've started off by unsubscribing to every asset and mod I did have before so I can start with a fresh clean environment.

I want to be able to build and add details but can't really get close enough in to do so. Anybody has any good ideas please?

How close in are you needing to get?

You'll need a mod. Camera Positions Utility lets you zoom in to street level. (and lets you turn off the annoying camera collisions)

Personally I use “Enhanced Zoom Continued” to get closer to the ground to detail. It also has other interesting features. “The Camera Position Utility+” is a great companion to Enhanced Zoom. It increases the zoom distance both ways, in and out plus other features too. To see how well they work together check out the clip below. The smooth movement around the map and how close you can get without being on the ground.

Thanks for the replies guys! I think I've used those mods before when I was active in the game but have forgotten by now so I will give them all a try to see what fits my need. :)
