So I dunno. I've got a work around now I guess.
So it was happening even without TMPE, in the vanilla game?
Here's my mod list: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1834825693
Any ideas? Not using TM:PE is not an option - thanks!
Use the Broken Node Detector mod to locate the problem (read mod description for more details):

It's possible the broken node detector isn't finding the problem and if so we will update it.
OK, I will do so shortly - thanks!

We noticed that your save game did not list the Broken Nodes Detector being subscribed & enabled when the save game was created. Did you forget to enable it in Content Manager > Mods?
After enabling it, open the save, then press Ctrl + 0 (zero) to open the dialog, then click "Run Detector".
It is possible that one of your other mods conflicts with it; we noticed you have an old broken mod called "Advanced Road Anarchy" subscribed. It's no longer in workshop, but you should be able to unsubscribe/delete it from Content Manager > Mods.
If you need a similar mod, I'd recommend the combination of "Fine Road Anarchy" and "Fine Road Tool" mods - they are very reliable.
