Subscribed items not showing in Content Manager

Hi All, hoping you can help me! Any time I start my game now, my subscribed assets and mods are not appearing in my Content Manager. I uninstalled the game last night and reinstalled it and that worked, but I started it again today and the same thing happened. I obviously don't want to have to delete and re install my game every time I want to play, any reason why this is happening or anyway I can resolve this?

steam reboot fixes the problem

If restarting Steam doesn't do it, then log out of Steam, shut it down completely, restart Steam, log in again and then try starting the game. That usually does the trick.

I was having this issue and found that steam was downloading the subbed items for Skylines, but allowed me to start skylines while downloading my subbed items, thus they did not show up in the content manager, but I had no indication that the download was happening. I just gave it some time and tried later at they were all there.
